If only they knew, that by taking control of their life, they would truly begin to LIVE it!
The choice of control for your life is yours of course, and always has been. If you don't feel that this is the case, then somewhere down the road you were given the chance to relinquish that control and you took it.
If you have lost control of your life, getting that control back may be difficult but it is never impossible - nothing is impossible - if it took a long time to lose control, it may take just as long to get it back - but once you start regaining control again, it becomes much easier and you will begin to feel better.
As of this writing, I'm in the process of regaining the control that I had lost over time. I don't feel I gave control to any one person, place or thing, but had scattered it to many people and circumstances in my life and let it rest there for a very long time. The day before my birthday saw an energy release from me of various emotions - all at once - that I had never experienced previously. That was the beginning of me taking back control of my life (releasing, what became, toxic energy). More on that in my 'Me, My Writing: A Reflection' tab above. It was also the beginning of talking much more openly about the details of my life - something I wouldn't have done before. This communication also aids in removing residual toxic energies.
As with anything, there are always two sides. As some people lose control of their lives, there are also those who want to be controlling. They want to be in control of everything in and about their life. That includes the people that come into it, leave it, the situations that occur and the emotions that they, and others, feel. When control of someone is attempted or gained, it automatically becomes a volatile situation. That person can, and has every right to take back control at any time - it will happen - and it can become a violent energy exchange for those involved physically or verbally.
Maybe it's laziness, maybe it's life or maybe it's an experience that everyone needs to go through. Some learn the hard way and others learn really really fast. It's all personal. I do know that, for myself, I am learning the easy way and have more time to concentrate on the positive aspects of life.
